Tradition and Environment
Welsh farming practices are based on the idea that if you look after the environment, the environment will look after you. Centuries of sustainable farming practices have established Wales as a producer of high quality lamb. The lambs have grown up in the lush landscape, where they have lived freely in natural green surroundings with care, nurturing and attention from local farmers.
Already from birth, the lambs are marked and registered, so that they can be traced in all phases of the production process. This registration also means that each individual lamb is fully traceable from the supermarket in Denmark to the field in Wales. With traditional working methods and environmentally friendly farming, local farmers are helping to protect the beautiful Welsh environment and preserve the production of quality food.
